Last day my friends, my wife Neda and I decided to travel to north part of Iran from Tehran my hometown to see the only individual of western population of Siberian Crane in Iran. But in early morning my cellphone rang and one of my friend who wanted to give us a ride said "the road is snowy and police my stop cars and close the road. So, I prefer not to drive and postpone the trip to next week." I'm still hopeful to see this Siberian Crane named Omid (means hope in Farsi) before it is too late since it usually returns to his home in Siberia in late February. In fact it is hard to find him in large area in private lands where poaching waterfowls is done in silence without a single shot. However other family members of Omid the single male Siberian Crane were killed by shots of poachers during last 20 years. This is a sad story will ending with death of Omid and extincting the western population of Siberian Crane.

Trekking for more than 14 years and guiding Eco-tours especially birding I decided to share my experiences and start to write. Although I took photos in my trips I feel lazy after the trip to share them in Facebook or submit my observation in ebird during last 1.5 years. I feel dissatisfied because I don't share and write and think with myself no one else enjoy and learn from the nature except participants and its a negative point. From today I force myself to write some lines even captions and share my photos. I really hope someone finds them useful.
